Mikey Likes It → Mike's Likes
Okay, so the name 'Mikey Likes It' was actually a joke, but it definitely got the attention of a lot of my friends and family. Even though I thought it was funny (and ridiculous), it actually seems to have caught the attention of my followers.
If you're not familiar with this and are just seeing it for the first time, I'm starting a new affiliate blog where I'll be sharing links to Amazon products I love. I've also dedicated page on my site where you can shop all of my favorite products at any time. Just check out my Affiliate Marketing page!
Quick Note: As an "Affiliate Marketing 101" side note, Affiliate Marketing is a billion-dollar marketing tactic and it's one of the reasons we all see so many influencers that are absolutely killing it financially. They share products they like with their followers, who in turn then purchase those products from Amazon, and Amazon then kicks back a few pennies to the influencer. If someone has a million followers and even half-a-percent of those followers make a purchase, that influencer could make several thousand dollars from one video or blog post.
Okay, now for my newest product recommendations:
Tenmiro LED Lights
I never thought I’d be the type to put LEDs in my office, but after grabbing a set for my daughter, I realized they’re actually pretty amazing. They’re fully customizable, sync to music, clapping, or even your voice, plus they’re dimmable and come with a timer.
They come in different lengths, and installation couldn’t be easier. The adhesive doesn’t damage the wall (a big deal for me, being the grandson of a house painter), and the mobile app makes them super simple to control.
At only about $10, I figured they were worth a try—and now, six months later, we own three sets!
SupeDesk Book & Laptop Stand
During the pandemic, I thought I’d coined my own term—the Boomerangle—for the awkward camera angle so many of us had on Zoom calls. Turns out it was already taken, but the problem was still real: no one looks good from the keyboard’s point of view.
I experimented with makeshift fixes (yes, I even used a cake stand) and got compliments for the improved angle. But honestly, this $26 stand is the real solution. It folds flat, looks great with my office setup, and saves you from stacking random objects under your laptop.
YECAYE Cable Management Organizer
If you know me, you know I hate messy cables. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep them hidden, so when I found these, I had to give them a try.
They’re thick, sturdy, and do an excellent job of hiding the wires that run across the front of my desk. I even cut mine on a miter saw to create a perfectly clean L-shape under my desktop.
For $17, you get a set of six, which was more than enough to tidy up all the wiring in my office.
And because I can’t stand clutter—especially loose cables—this was a no-brainer upgrade.
