If you're not familiar with this and are just seeing it for the first time, I'm starting a new affiliate blog where I'll be sharing links to Amazon products I love. I've also dedicated page on my site where you can shop all of my favorite products at any time. Just check out my Affiliate Marketing page!
Quick Note: As an "Affiliate Marketing 101" side note, Affiliate Marketing is a billion-dollar marketing tactic and it's one of the reasons we all see so many influencers that are absolutely killing it financially. They share products they like with their followers, who in turn then purchase those products from Amazon, and Amazon then kicks back a few pennies to the influencer. If someone has a million followers and even half-a-percent of those followers make a purchase, that influencer could make several thousand dollars from one video or blog post.
Okay, now for my newest product recommendations:
2 Hounds Design Freedom No Pull Dog Harness
Our Willow, the dog that forever changed our lives, is so good, but on a leash, man... All she wants to do it pull and she is strong! I recently did something risky and attached her leash to my bike's handle bars so she could pull me, like I was Santa and she was one of the reindeer... She had absolutely no problem, so it proved how strong she is.
The problem is, she's too strong and it was making it hard for us to walk her. Meg found this harness, so we tried it and immediately, she was like a different dog. She was gentle, stayed with us, and never showed the urge to pull. Even our neighbor noticed how good she was and immediately purchased one. For just over $40, it's worth every penny!
OJY & DOIIIY Wall Mounted Fishing Rod Holders
Over the summer, my son and his buddies all started taking up fishing. For a generation of kids that generally communicate via FaceTime and text, it's wonderful to watch them get outside, in nature, and enjoy something as simple as fishing. But with fishing comes the "stuff", and man, there's a lot of it... From spinner rods and bait casters, to whopper ploppers and more, the stuff started to add up quickly, so we needed a solution.
This rod holder is $10 (!!) and holds 6 rods. It's helped us get our rods off the ground and keep my garage in a state that makes people go, "Wow!" when they see it (which makes me smile every time). If you're looking to make space and have a few rods to organize, definitely give this thing a try!
Dyson V15 Detect Plus Cordless Vacuum
If you know me, you know I hate messes and dust, and while this is only Volume 3 of this blog series, I hope you realize that goal is not to share expensive products, but..., once in a while, I have to. This vacuum is incredible and honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with it: I love it because it's super easy to use and works great; but I hate it because the green light drives me nuts. It shows every speck of dirt, so it takes me three times as long to vacuum. I vacuumed our dining room with a regular vacuum, checked it and all looked good. Then I turned to this vacuum... When the green light came on, it looked like I was trying to vacuum the garage floor. It's changed how we vacuum for sure!
It's pricey, at over $800, but after you use it once or twice, you will not be disappointed at all!
